New Year's Eve
Add Sparkle to New Year’s with
your own personal Champagne Party

It wouldn't be New Year's Eve without champagne and certainly you couldn't celebrate a great New Year's Eve in your life without it.  So, what about a whole party planned around it?  Your house or theirs...

Rosemary Zraly, "The Champagne Lady" and author of Champagne...Uncorked! The Insider’s Guide to Champagne! estimates that over 354 million bottles of Champagne are expected to be consumed worldwide on December 31st, the largest number of bottles on any single night in the year.

Here are "The Champagne Lady's"
tips for your own

New Year's Eve Champagne Party:

  1. Begin tasting to find out which Champagne is your favorite. Invite a group of friends to meet regularly and join in the tastings (and have each person bring a bottle to share).

  2. Once you've made your choices, begin laying in a supply. You definitely don't want to run out before midnight.

  3. Try out several menus and recipes to find the right combination for you and your guests. Did you know that you can make Champagne sauce, Champagne soup and even Champagne entrees?  This is where Rosemary’s book could really come in handy, or you might consult other cookbooks.

  4. Begin Collecting Champagne Flutes. "The right glass adds personality and elegance, as well as setting the mood..." says Rosemary. Casual for barbecues and elegant for dressy parties. However, never serve champagne in colored glass she cautions "Not seeing the bubbles would be losing some of the Champagne magic."

Have a Champagne Tasting at your next party.
