The E. R. Porter Hardware Company is over a century old and still going strong with the same quality services. 

The oldest business in
Dothan, Alabama,
founded in 1889
by E. R. Porter and J. D. Murphree, continues today to be owned and operated by Porter's descendants. 
The store, its interior and exterior much the same as when it was foundered, still carries all manner of hardware and specializes in hard-to-find items.

This site helps us connect with our friends in much the same way as chatting over the back yard fence, church outings and saying howdi during community meetings where Porter Hardware was always the come together place for renewal projects large and small.  Just being there with you gave us much of our satisfaction.
