Raymond Schneider & wife Rhea

Attached is a photo of our family taken at the beach in 2003.

Left to right they are:  our son, Jason (kneeling).  He is a doctor in Atlanta and is on the Emory Medical School faculty; our son-in-law, Mike, and daughter, Julie.  They are both artists (illustrators, actually), and they live in Savannah.  They both completed their Master's in Illustration at Savannah College of Art and Design, and Mike continued on as a facuty member there.

Next is me, then Rhea.  Rhea recently retired as a 3rd grade teacher after about 30 years of teaching in places such as Illinois, Nigeria, California and finally here in Baton Rouge.

She didn't know what she was in for when, 35 years ago, she said, "Yeah, I'll marry you."  I hope Mrs. Brown doesn't edit my punctuation.

Take care, Lee, and thanks again for all your efforts in making this website available.  Also, I will call you next time we're in Atlanta.

By the way, I think we would be doing serious jail time if we had pulled off our high school stunts today.

I also recall roasting hot dogs over the heater when we were supposed to be practicing in one of the little band rooms.  Were you there?

With best regards,
Raymond Schneider
