Nancy Walker, horticulturist, with the General Services Department has put her heart into downtown Dothan. She turned old concrete storm drainage pipes into giant flower pots. She has created a wonderful perennial border planted along the wall at Poplar Head Park, with Southern Magnolias, Sasanquas, Roses and other flowers. The park is open to the public. She hung flower pots from historic lamp poles throughout downtown. click images for detail.
