The American Indian Festival 2009 was held November 21 at the Dothan Civic Center; just yards from where Dothan got its' beginning at Popular Head Springs. Many Indians in the past camped at this site. This festival was very educational and fun for all who participated.

Restoration of the First National
Bank Building is Now Complete

The 100-year-old, 1st National Bank of Dothan, building was built in 1907 by the Malone family, located on the corner of Foster and Main, is a true landmark in downtown Dothan.  The old bank after being vacant for the best part of the past twenty years is finally been given new life thanks to Keith Givens and his two sons.

Restoration is now complete.  Jacoby & Meyers LLC and the American Trial Lawyers Publication offices now occupy the new remodeled facility.  Downtown Dothan is on the move to recovery.
