Depot 1A640

A view of the architect’s rendering of the restored Dixie Depot.

On Tuesday, March 21st, the City Commission gave their go ahead to the Dixie Depot Revitalization Project started over seven years ago to house the Wiregrass Transit Authority funded by a grant for $1,406,915 (FTA contribution $1,125,532).

It should be noted that this grant was received through
Senator Richard Shelby’s office.

Good things are starting to happen in Downtown Dothan.
